Same old story recently with life getting in the way of painting! That's not to say I haven't been doing any painting, I have, but not as much as I would like.
First up is my almost finished 101st Airborne for Flames of War. These have taken a fair while to do and all that remains is to base them. This is very time consuming but I will follow up with more pics when they are finished. I was going to try and paint the insignia on, but I gave up as I'm just not good enough. It's something I can go back to later. What I will do is label all the bases which is an idea I've stolen from
here

And the half-painted divisional artillery support. Still working on these but loving the resin bases they come with. I've painted the uniforms on these as a mix between the late 44 uniform that new recruits would be issued with and the older mix of uniforms. There's a mix of the two to signify the varying experience of the crew. Link here for the painting
guide

And finally, I was planning to play some games with my Polish 1st Armoured division only to discover I had insufficient points to use my infantry. So what to get? Sextons! 8 of them!
Again, WIP and I'll follow up in detail in a later blog.

So what's next?
Well, after I finish off all the above, it's back to Warhammer Fantasy. I'll be setting up a special WFB blog for my Empire and a link will be up as soon as it goes live. Here's a sneak peak of my general and standard bearer.

As always, comments are welcome :D
